In a powerful show of solidarity, approximately 600 individuals, including more than 400 children aged 4 and above, gathered at Park Circus on the cool Sunday morning of December 24th, 2023 . The air resonated with a shared commitment to advocate for innocent lives affected by the ongoing conflict in Israel. The rally, which stretched 2 kilometres from Park Circus, had enthusiastic participants carrying placards with messages of solidarity with Palestine and a fervent appeal for an immediate ceasefire. 🌍 We the Children of India Stand with the Children of Palestine🌍 Dear compassionate souls, In the wake of the ongoing conflict in Israel that has brought immense suffering to innocent Palestinians, it is the children who bear the brunt of these atrocities. With over 8000 children killed, there are about 9000 wounded, many of them seriously. About 24,000 children are now without one or both parents.  Forced to endure makeshift camps with scarce food and water and lacking essential medical facilities, they face surgeries without anaesthesia, and their lives have been irrevocably disrupted. Moved by the plight of these young souls, the children of Kolkata express profound sadness and extend their unwavering solidarity with those enduring unimaginable hardships.
